MindOverMoors

What began as a one-off charity race created to honour the two daughters of two friends who tragically lost their lives to suicide quickly became something much bigger. The overwhelming response, the shared emotion, and the sheer joy of seeing people come together on the trails lit a fire in me. I didn’t just enjoy organising that first event I loved it, and I knew I had to do more.

That spark has now grown into a trail racing company with a mission: to create events that matter. Every race we put on, whether big or small, carries its own story, it’s own spirit, and its own reason for being. These aren’t just races….they’re experiences. And they won’t follow the standard format. We’re breaking the mould, designing each event to stand apart in its own unique way.

This is trail running with soul, driven by community, and powered by purpose.

A smiling man and woman standing outdoors on a grassy area, hugging each other. The woman is wearing a gray jacket, green beanie, and colorful socks, while the man is wearing a blue jacket and gray pants. A small brown dog on a blue leash is in front of them. Behind them is a pink banner for Lashes Foundation with pictures of eyelash extensions. To their left is a wooden board with various posters and notices, and the background features rolling hills and cloudy skies.

My story….

I joined the Royal Marines at 16, driven by a hunger for challenge and a love of the outdoors. That path led me to some wild places, tougher tests, and some mad people! I’ve chased adventure across the globe, from deserts to mountains, but nothing compares to home…..the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, now armed with 3 beautiful children its time to make home the adventure!

Time to give back, I’m building events that reflect everything I’ve learned to love and enjoy. These races aren’t just about distance or speed. They’re about grit, connection, and the kind of stories you’ll be telling for years. Expect the unexpected. Embrace the comradery that these events attract. And get ready to experience the Moors like never before.

This is your playground now so lets get after it!
