A new and exiting route crafted for those winter conditions!

Twin Falls 50K

Starting from Goathland Village Hall, the Twin Falls 50K climbs onto the North York Moors before descending into the enchanting woodland of Falling Foss, where runners pass one of Yorkshire's most spectacular waterfalls.

The route then joins sections of the newly created Mulgrave Way, winding through ancient woodland and the historic Mulgrave Estate, passing the atmospheric ruins of Mulgrave Castle. From there, runners climb inland, where stunning views stretch across both the North Yorkshire coastline and the rolling hills of the North York Moors.

The final stages head into the wooded valley of Beck Hole, where runners pass the beautiful Mallyan Spout Waterfall before returning to Goathland for a memorable finish.

Carefully designed for winter conditions, the course makes full use of sheltered woodland, valleys and forest trails, reducing exposure to the elements while still showcasing the very best of the North York Moors.

Combining two iconic waterfalls, castle ruins, ancient woodland, dramatic moorland scenery and coastal views, the Twin Falls 50K offers a challenging and unforgettable winter ultra-marathon experience.
